Police Arrest Clarksburg Man for Disorderly Conduct in Punxy

state_policePUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney Borough Police say one man was arrested following an incident in Groundhog Plaza in Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say on August 5, 2015, Punxsutawney Borough Police Department received a request to respond to Groundhog Plaza for a report of a disorderly male.

Officers arrived and it was determined that Robert Painter Jr., of Clarksburg, Pa., was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

Painter alledgedly punched a US Postal Service mail box and toppled over a vending machine.

Painter was taken into custody and police say he was charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief.
