Police Arrest Truck Driver on Drug Charges

arrestedWASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police arrested one man on various drug charges in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the DuBois Motor Carrier Enforcement Team stopped a truck trailer combination for a DOT inspection at the mile 88 Rest Area of Interstate 80 on January 11 at 5 p.m.

Police determined that the driver, 59-year-old Earl Lee Peterman, of Miamisburg OH, had his operating privileges suspended.

Upon further investigation, police discovered that Peterman was in possession of hydrocodone, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Peterman was arrested for vehicle code violations and drug offense charges.
