Police Ask for Help Identifying Vehicle That Wrecked Into Utility Pole, Fled Scene in Bell Township

BELL TWP., Pa. (EYT) — State Police are requesting the public’s help with information related to a hit-and-run that happened in Bell Township late Friday evening.

According to PSP Punxsutawney, the incident was reported around 11:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, on Clawson Street in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

Police say an unknown vehicle traveling west and lost control while negotiating a right curve in the roadway.

It then traveled off the eastbound shoulder and struck a utility pole.

According to police, the vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Based on the debris left at the scene of the crash, the vehicle is believed to be a red 2010-2014 Chevrolet Cruze with fog lights and chrome trim.
