Police Call: Vehicle Hits Deer on U.S. 219

STATE FARM NEW DATAJEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say on November 1,around 4:40 p.m., a crash involving a deer occurred in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, Muriel R. McDonald, 54 of Brookville was traveling southbound on U.S. 219 in a 2012 Toyota RAV4 when she struck a deer that jumped into her lane of travel.

McDonald was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
