Police: Dogs Thrown Out of Truck, Abandoned in Jefferson County

WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a case of animal cruelty in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the incident occurred around 4:11 p.m. on April 24, when an unknown individual drove to a location at U.S. 322 and Hormtown Road in Winslow Township, stopped, and threw two dogs out of the vehicle before fleeing the scene toward Reynoldsville.

Police say the vehicle is a blue 2015 Dodge RAM 1500 with a work rack on the bed.

The dogs were transported to the Gateway Humane Society.
