Police Investigating Aggravated Assault of Two SCI Forest Staff Members by Inmate

JENKS TWP., FOREST CO., Pa. (EYT) –Marienville-based State Police are investigating an aggravated assault incident that occurred on July 7 at State Correctional Institution (SCI) Forest in Jenks Township, Forest County.

Police say around 7:45 a.m. on July 7, a known 40-year-old SCI male inmate struck two SCI Forest male staff members in the head with a closed fist.

There is no word on the current conditions of the staff members.

Police have not yet released the name of the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
