Police Investigating Altercation at Jefferson County School

State PoliceWINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say an incident of criminal mischief occurred yesterday at Jeff Tech School, in Reynoldsville, Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 12:37 p.m. on January 29, a known, 17-year-old DuBois male “got upset after an argument with his girlfriend and started punching lockers.”

“The suspect then attempted to leave the school while shouting and raised some safety concerns with a school safety officer. The officer attempted to restrain the suspect which escalated to a physical altercation,” police say.

The victim is a known, 53-year-old Jefferson County man.

The investigation continues.
