Police Investigating Bullet Shot into Residence in Rose Township

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident where a bullet was shot into a residence in Rose Township over the weekend.

The incident reportedly occurred between 11:00 p.m. on July 24 and 8:00 a.m. on July 25 at a residence along State Route 36 in Rose Township.

According to police, a known 62-year-old female victim from Brookville reported that an unknown individual(s) shot a bullet into her residence while it was unoccupied.

Police say it is believed the individual(s) were poaching or target shooting.

The incident remains under investigation.
