Police Investigating Burglary in Summerville

investigationSUMMERVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a Burglary occurred on 2nd Avenue, in Summerville Borough, Jefferson County.

According to police, sometime between 11:00 a.m. on January 27 and 6:30 p.m. on February 3, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered a resident on 2nd Avenue and removed US currency.

The perpetrator(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction, police say.

The estimated total loss is $50.00, according to police.

The victims were a 56-year-old Summerville female and a 12-year-old Brookville male.

The investigation continues.
