Police Investigating Burglary in Young Township

YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred recently in Young Township.

On Thursday, March 5, Trooper Munsee of the Punxsutawney-based State Police investigated a burglary that occurred at a residence on Walston Road in Young Township.

According to police, between 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, and 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, unknown individual(s) entered the residence through an unlocked door and stole a black wallet out of a known 52-year-old Walston woman’s purse.

The wallet, valued at $5.00, contained the victim’s driver license, her medical insurance card, and $300.00 cash.

Police say the individual(s) then fled the scene by an unknown means in an unknown direction.
