Several Shots Fired into House in Elk County

ELK CO., Pa. (EYT) – Ridgway-based State Police are investigating an incident of shots fired into a residence in Elk County.

According to police, at an unknown time and date, unknown individual(s) fired six shots into a residence on Silver Creek Road in Ridgway Township.

Police say the rounds entered the building and caused over $2,000.00 in damage, including $500.00 damage to the front door, $250.00 damage to window molding, $80.00 damage to drywall, $250.00 damage to a bathroom vanity, $250.00 damage to cabinets, $100.00 damage to vinyl siding, $100.00 damage to metal siding, and $100.00 damage to carpeting.

According to police, the bullets found in the location are believed to be from a .45 caliber handgun.
