Police Investigating Stabbing Incident at SCI Forest

JENKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 7:00 p.m. on June 26, an incident of aggravated assault occurred at SCI Forest C Unit Yard, in Jenks Township, Forest County.

According to police, a known 23-year-old male inmate stabbed another known 29-year-old male inmate with a sharpened piece of metal, causing several puncture wounds requiring sutures.

The investigation continues.
