Police Investigating Theft in Barnett Township

BARNETT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say a theft occurred at a camp property located just off State Route 36, in Barnett Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered a known man’s property at the above described location and removed a rusted lock hasp from the victim’s storage shed.

Police say the perpetrator(s) removed the following items:

– 22″ aluminum ladder
– leaf blower
– weed trimmer
– small table saw

The perpetrator(s) departed the scene undetected and in an unknown direction, according to police.

The incident occurred sometime between 12:00 p.m. on August 10 and 2:00 p.m. on September 7, police say.

The investigation is continuing.
