PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a theft that took place in the area of Central Street in Canoe Township, Jefferson County.
Police are investigating an incident where a 34-year-old known actor smashed out the outside pane of glass in the Rossiter American Legion door at 2:06 a.m. December 11, 2015.
The actor then proceeded to commit the act of loitering and prowling at night time at two residences in Rossiter, according to police.
The actor proceeded to a vehicle and gained entry removing a .243 caliber rifle.
The actor placed the rifle on the porch of the owner and knocked on their door.
Police arrived on scene and took the actor into custody.
Charges are pending through District Court 40-3-01.
