Police Investigating Theft of Guns

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police are investigating a theft from a residence located at 192 East Main Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County, that occurred sometime between October 2012 and March 26, 2013.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) removed the following guns:

a Llama .45 caliber Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol, having an approximate value of $125.00, including a 13 round loaded magazine.

an 8-shot H &R Sportsman’s Revolver with an 8″ barrel, having an approximate value of $150.00.

Police say there was no forced entry into the residence.

The investigation is continuing.
