Police: Jefferson County Teen Allegedly Threatens to Kill Juvenile with Chain Saw

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a call concerning a domestic dispute around 11:30 p.m. on May 27.

Upon arrival to the residence on East Main Street, in Big Run Borough, it was discovered that 19-year-old Charles Thiel, of Big Run, was allegedly holding a chain saw and, at one point, attempted to start it and related to a known juvenile that he would kill him, according to police.

Thiel then fled the scene without incident prior to police arrival.

Charges for Terroristic Threats have been filed at District Court 54-3-02.
