CLOVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A Mayport woman allegedly fled the scene of an accident in Clover Township, Jefferson County.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday, Ashley L. Shumaker, 29, of Mayport, was traveling on Mount Pleasant Road and for unknown reasons drove off the roadway.
Her vehicle subsequently struck a utility pole, police say.
Police say Shumaker then fled the scene without giving notice to the police.
Shumaker was not injured.
She was charged with Careless Driving.
