Police: Oil City Man Suspect in Burglary in Union Township

UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 2:50 a.m. on July 6, a burglary occurred on Mendenhall Road, in Union Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a known 45-year-old Oil City male forced himself through two basement doors into a residence at the above location occupied by a 39-year-old Brookville female.

Once inside the residence, the Oil City man attempted by force to get inside a locked bedroom door.

He was unable to gain entry and fled the scene.
