Police Release Details of DUI-Related Rollover Crash in Redbank Township

REDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State police have released the details of a DUI-related crash that occurred in Redbank Township.

According to Clarion-based State Police, around 7:57 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 66-year-old Frank A. Cornman, of Templeton, was operating a 1997 Ford Ranger, traveling east on Brookville Street, just east of Middle Run Road in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

Police say Cornman was negotiating a left curve in the road when his vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The vehicle then ricocheted off the guardrail and proceeded across the roadway and off the left side of the road where it struck an embankment and rolled over onto its roof. It came to a final rest on its roof facing north.

Cornman suffered possible injuries of unknown severity and was transported to Clarion Hospital by Southern Clarion County Ambulance Service.

According to police, Cornman was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for DUI.
