Police Release Details of One-Vehicle Crash on Five Mile Run Road

KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police have released the details of a crash where a vehicle struck a utility pole on Five Mile Run Road last month.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, the accident happened around 6:27 a.m. on October 18, on Five Mile Run Road, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 20-year-old Braidon J. Smith, of Brookville, was operating a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup traveling northbound when his vehicle went off the roadway and struck a utility pole. It then came to a final rest at the utility pole facing northwest.

Smith was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
