Police Release Details of Tractor-Trailer Rollover Crash on I-80 in Union Township

UNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police have released the details of a tractor-trailer rollover crash that occurred on Interstate 80 in Union Township earlier this month.

According to DuBois-based State Police, around 5:21 a.m. on November 10, a one-vehicle crash happened on Interstate 80 westbound near the 74.2-mile marker in Union Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 38-year-old Ivan Sus, of Warren, was operating a 2016 Freightliner truck traveling west on Interstate 80 when his vehicle drifted off the roadway and struck a guide rail. It then traveled off the north side of the roadway, went up an embankment, and overturned.

Sus suffered suspected minor injuries but reportedly refused transport.

He was using a seat belt.

He was cited for a traffic violation.
