Police Release Details on Barnett Township Crash; One Man Injured

BARNETT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Barnett Township, Forest County.

According to Marienville-based State Police, the accident occurred around 10:47 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30.

Police say 33-year-old Clinton B. Stout, of Corsica, was driving south on Route 899 when his 2016 Toyota Tacoma rear-ended a 2011 Ford F-150 driven by 35-year-old Andrew R. Kopp, of Shamokin.

Kopp had slowed his vehicle while attempting to turn into his driveway. Although Stout had braked, he was unable to stop in time. The impact of the collision forced Kopp’s vehicle off the side of the road while Stout pulled into a nearby driveway.

Stout was not injured.

Kapp suffered suspected minor injuries.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Stout was issued a traffic violation.
