Burglars Steal 10 Guns from Rose Twp. Business

investigationROSE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at HRIN Rentals, on State Route 36 North, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the burglary occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. on May 22, 2015, and 4:49 p.m. on May 26, 2015.

According to police, the unknown perpetrator(s) stole the following firearms:

  • 30/30 Marlin rifle with 3/9 Leopold scope (lever action with gold trigger)
  • 12 gauge Ithaca (single barrel/single shot)
  • 12 gauge Mossberg (pump action)
  • 12 gauge New England (single shot)
  • .50 caliber CVA (Black Powder)
  • .223/12 gauge (over and under) Savage
  • .22 caliber Remington, model 1908 w/scope (white design on stock)
  • 7MM mag Winchester w/6×18 Bushnell scope (bolt action)
  • .22 High Standard (9 shot revolver)
  • 16 gauge Winchester (“Ed” engraved in stock; single shot w/hammer)

The unknown perpetrator(s) also removed a Craftsman table saw from the storage unit, police say.

The victims are a Brookville man and a Clarington man, according to police.
