Police Release Details on Criminal Mischief; Juvenile Referred to Youth Commission for Hitting Car with Cake

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, an incident of Criminal Mischief involving a juvenile occurred around 9:22 p.m. on September 18, on Madison and South White Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

The Brookville police were dispatched to the area of Giant Eagle for a juvenile who was hitting a car with a plastic bag that had unknown contents.

Police responded and found the juvenile walking in the area of the Pickering Street Bridge that matched the description of the perpetrator.

It was later discovered that the juvenile perpetrator had a piece of cake that was in a plastic wrap and struck a car numerous times with it. The juvenile left the area and threw the plastic wrap in a bush, according to police.

With the consent of the victim, the juvenile perpetrator was referred to the youth commission to do community service instead of receiving criminal charges, police say.
