Police Release Details on Retail Theft in Young Township

Police car lightsYOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a retail theft occurred at Walmart in Young Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 9:23 p.m. on January 1, a known male stole an AC charger and returned it. A gift card was issued.

Police say the suspect then purchased CO2 cartridges and BB ammo with the gift card.

The value of the items totaled $53.98.

The investigation continues.

The name of the suspect was not released.
