Police Release Details on Rollover Crash in Knox Township Involving Brookville Woman

KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A one-car rollover crash occurred on State Route 2025, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 7:30 a.m. on April 2, 29-year-old Erica M. Hernandez, of Brookville, was traveling eastbound on Fuller Road (SR 2025) in a 2014 Ford Focus. She came in contact with a slippery, snow-covered surface as she was driving on a downhill slope and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway.

The car left its lane of travel, crossed into the opposing lane, and impacted the guide rail. After impact, the car crossed back into the eastbound lane, left the roadway, and impacted an embankment. The collision with the embankment caused the car to rotate and roll over onto its driver’s side.

Hernandez was using a seat belt and was not injured.

McPherson’s Towing removed the car from the scene.
