BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, an incident of fraud occurred on Patton Road, in Beaver Township, Jefferson County.
Police say on May 13, a known 18-year-old Mayport female was scammed by depositing a fraudulent check into her bank account and then making Green Dot Money Pak purchases and providing the unknown perpetrator(s) with the funds.
No other information was provided.
