Police Release Details on Theft by Deception

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police were contacted by the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office to investigate a theft by deception/bad checks.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that 30-year-old Timothy A. Pickard, of Sharon, allegedly issued a bad check to Mike’s Comet on November 1, in the amount of $425.75, according to police.

Police say Pickard then returned to Mike’s Comet on November 2 and allegedly issued another bad check in the amount of $365.15.

He is being charged with theft by deception and bad checks.
