CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, in Clarion Township.
According to police, around 11:35 a.m. on October 20, 55-year-old Andrew M. Smith, of Summerville, and 61-year-old Jan L. Corbett, of Clarion, were involved in the collision.
Police say a 2009 Ford F550 pickup, driven by Smith, and a 2013 Honda CRVEX, driven by Corbett, were traveling eastbound on I-80. The Ford impacted the rear of the Honda with its front.
Both drivers and a passenger in Corbett’s vehicle, 57-year-old Betty J. Banner, of Clarion, were using seat belts. No injuries were reported.
Smith was charged with a traffic violation.
