Police Release Information on Alcohol-Related Crash in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, a DUI crash occurred on Western Avenue, in Brookville Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say 42-year-old Jeffery Lewis Nair, of Brookville; 34-year-old William Gallagher, of Brookville; and 37-year-old Lori Reddinger, of Punxsutawney, were involved in the collision.

Around 2:26 a.m. on December 1, Brookville Police were dispatched to Western Avenue for a motor vehicle accident.

During the investigation of the crash, police discovered that Nair, who was operating a 2001 Dodge pickup truck, struck Gallagher’s Honda Pilot and Reddinger’s Chevrolet Cobalt.

Police say it was determined that Lewis was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI.

He was transported to the Brookville Hospital for a blood test, and the results came back with Lewis’ BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) being greater than 0.30% at the time of the incident.

Charges of DUI and other related traffic offenses are being filed at the office of District Magistrate Gregory Bazylak.
