Police Investigating Crop Damage in Porter Township

PORTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident that damaged a cornfield in Porter Township late last week.

Around 3:16 p.m. on Friday, September 11, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to 381 Depp Road in Porter Township, Jefferson County, for a report of a vehicle in a cornfield.

Police say it was reported a 1999 Jeep Cherokee did approximately $100.00 of damage to the cornfield.

The victim is a 44-year-old Punxsutawney male.

The investigation is ongoing.
