PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a hit and run accident occurred on Richardsville Road, south of Sugar Camp Lane, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, 20-year-old Jeremy A. Lovell, of South Lyon, MI, was traveling north on Richardsville Road and lost control of his 1985 GMC Suburban.
The vehicle traveled off the north berm, then traveled approximately 66 feet, became airborne for approximately 15 feet, and then struck a ditch with its front end, police say.
The vehicle traveled 24 feet until it came to a final rest facing northwest on a private property, according to police.
Lovell suffered minor injuries, police say.
He was charged with a traffic violation, according to police.
