Police Report Two Reynoldsville Residents Arrested on DUI/Drug Charges

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police reported two arrests made in Jefferson County, both involving Reynoldsville residents.

Drug/ DUI Arrest in Reynoldsville

Police say a known 28-year-old Reynoldsville man was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs after being found sleeping in his vehicle at the intersection of Route 322 and 10th Street in Reynoldsville.

He was found at 12:30 p.m. on May 27.

An investigation is ongoing in this case.

DUI in Winslow Township

Police say that a one-vehicle accident occurred on May 28, 2015 at 1:25 a.m. on Wayne Road in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

The driver is listed as a 23-year-old female, of Reynoldsville, Pa.

Police say the driver lost control of her 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer and exited the roadway, striking a tree and overturning.

She then fled the scene and was found walking along Route 322.

While speaking with her, police say a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on her breath.

She was subsequently arrested for DUI pending blood results, along with other summary traffic violations.

The names of the suspects in both of these cases were not released by police.
