State Police Calls: DUI, Theft, Burglary

Suspected DUI in Winslow Township

Dubois-based State Police say a male actor was taken into custody for suspected DUI after a traffic stop on April 11 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, a known male was stopped around 8:41 p.m. on State Route 322 for a summary traffic violation.

During the stop, the male actor was suspected of driving under the influence and was subsequently taken into custody, police say.

Charges are pending, according to police.

The name of the actor was not released.

State Police Investigate Theft from State Games Lands in Snyder Township

According to DuBois-based State Police, an incident of theft occurred around 5:42 p.m. on April 11, in the State Game Lands off of Bliss Road, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a 17-year-old male victim reported that a Game Camera and a Ground Blind was stolen from the location above.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police Seek Information Concerning Coat Stolen from Huntington County Sheetz

Dubois-based State Police say a Reynoldsville man was the victim of a theft that occurred on March 26 at the Sheetz in Smithfield Township, Huntington County.

According to police, the 48-year-old victim reported that his coat was stolen around 2:06 a.m. while he was working at the store.

The investigation is ongoing.

Huston Township Burglary

According to DuBois-based State Police, a burglary occurred sometime between 2:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. on April 11 at a residence on Ponderosa Drive, in Huston Township, Clerfield County.

Police say the incident occurred as an unknown actor(s) gained entry by unknown means into the unsecured residence owned by a 38-year-old Penfield woman.

Once inside the residence, the actor(s) removed several household items.
