Police Respond to Alleged Physical Altercation in Sigel

BARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Marienville-based State Police, sometime between 1:15 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. on May 12, an alleged physical altercation occurred approximately 1/2 mile from Fisher Road, on Jackson Road, in Sigel, Barnett Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a known, 35-year-old Sigel man allegedly entered into a verbal and physical altercation and struck a 24-year-old Sigel woman in the right eye.

No injuries were reported, according to police.

The suspect left the scene prior to police’s arrival.
