Police Respond to Crash on Route 119, Two Injured

HENDERSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a two-car accident occurred on State Route 119, 820 feet south of Kuntz Road, in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 19-year-old Brock A. Huntington, of Mansfield, Pa., and 51-year-old William Depp-Hutchinson, of Punxsutawney, were involved in the collision.

Police say Huntington was traveling south on SR 119 and failed to slow his Ford Focus upon approaching a line of traffic and rear-ended a Scion XB operated by Depp-Hutchinson.

Huntington and a passenger were transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. It is unknown whether they were using seat belts.

Depp-Hutchinson was using a seat belt and was not injured.

Huntington was charged with a traffic violation.

Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department; Rebucks Towing; and Jefferson County EMS assisted at the scene.
