SANDY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police have released information surrounding a February 27 motor vehicle accident on Interstate 80 westbound in Sandy Township, Clearfield.
Police say the accident occurred around 3 a.m. when 23-year-old Daniel Nikolov, of Spokane, Washington, lost control of his vehicle while exiting the highway at exit 97.
Nikolov’s 2007 Freightliner Columbia subsequently left the highway and rolled onto its right side.
No injuries were reported.
Nikolov was cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.
