Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Collision in Sykesville

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225SYKESVILLE BORO, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Sykes Street Extension, in Sykesville Borough, Jefferson County.

Police say this crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. on April 26 as a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier was slowing in the southbound lane of travel in order to make a right turn onto Sykes Alley. A 2011 Honda Crosstour failed to notice the Cavalier slowing and was unable to come to a stop prior to striking the rear of it.

No one was injured as a result of the crash, according to police.

The names of the occupants were not released.

No other information was provided.
