Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash in Brady Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 219 in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Police say at 11:34 a.m. November 23, Kendall M. Mays, 38, of Amherst VA, was travelling east on Route 219 in a 2001 Peterbilt 379.

19-year-old Rachael T. Henry, of Luthersburg, was approaching the roadway from the parking lot of Dan Henry’s Service Minit Mart in her 2001 Volkswagen Passat.

Henry’s braking system failed and her vehicle crossed the southbound shoulder. Henry’s front end impacted the right side of Mays’ vehicle.

Mays’ vehicle came to a controlled final rest facing east on the right shoulder and Henry’s vehicle came to final rest facing north in the parking lot.

Both drivers were wearing seat-belts and were not injured in the crash.
