Police Respond to Two Vehicle Crash on Route 322

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred around 4:50 p.m. on February 28, at East Main Street (State Route 322), just above the Brookville Fireman’s Club, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say 29-year-old Nathan D. Boyer and 64-year-old Harry E. Richards, both of Brookville, were involved in the collision.

According to police, both Boyer and Richards were traveling east. Richards stopped behind other stopped traffic, and Boyer, who was behind Richards, did not stop and struck the rear of Richards’ 2011 Cadillac with the front of his 2001 Subaru.

Boyer’s Subaru sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene by McPherson Towing.

Richards’ Cadillac was able to be driven from the scene.

There were no injuries reported.

Pinecreek Fire Police and an off-duty Brookville fireman assisted at the scene.
