SANDY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Sandy Township, Clearfield County.
Police say this crash occurred at 10:32 a.m. November 26, 2015 near mile marker 99.8.
According to police, 55-year-old Mary E. Tote, of Brookville, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox westbound in the left lane. An unidentified vehicle was also traveling west in the right lane and began to merge into the left lane toward Tote’s vehicle.
Tote swerved to avoid an impact with the other vehicle and lost control.
Tote’s vehicle impacted the guardrail but she was not injured in the crash.
The unidentified vehicle fled the scene westbound.
The unidentified vehicle is described as a two-door mint-green colored hatchback.
