Police Seek Information on Burglary in Jefferson County

KNOX TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a burglary occurred sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on January 14, on Center Hill Road, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) gained entry to a residence through an unlocked first floor kitchen window next to a glass entry door. The perpetrator(s) first attempted to pry open another locked window and the glass entry door before discovering the unlocked window.

Police say after entry, the perpetrator(s) removed $750.00 in cash; various prescription medications; canine medications; a number of necklaces and other “costume” jewelry; a gold Citizen watch; and birth certificates and passports for all household members.

The perpetrator(s) then fled the scene.
