Police Seek Information on Burglary in Young Township

YOUNG TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 6:00 p.m. on February 28, a burglary occurred at a residence in Young Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the victim noticed a gray Hyundai Accent in her driveway. She advised that the vehicle had a vertical crack near the center of the front bumper.

She attempted to located the driver by looking out windows around the entire house. When she could not located the driver, she returned to the window overlooking the driveway and yelled out to whomever was there, police say.

A white male, 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, medium build, with short dark hair, thick dark-rimmed glasses, and wearing a black Penguins jacket appeared from the garage man door. The male went directly to the gray car and fled, according to police.

The victim was able to get a picture of the car as it pulled away, police say.
