Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run Accident in Bell Township

BELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a hit-and-run accident occurred November 17 at approximately 7:30 a.m. in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the crash occurred as an unknown driver was traveling north on Elderberry Hill Road.

The driver failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the east side of the road, striking a mailbox.

The vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
