CANOE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a hit and run accident occurred in a private driveway in Canoe Township, Indiana County.
According to police, on February 21 around 10:00 a.m. , an unidentified vehicle pulled into a private driveway off Stonetown Road and impacted the entire driver’s side of an unoccupied parked 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
The truck came to rest at the site of the crash facing west.
The unidentified vehicle, which is believed to be a pickup truck or larger SUV with a brush guard on the front, then fled the scene.
