Police Seek Information on Person Who Drove ATV Through Cemetery, Desecrating Headstones

state_policeWINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are asking the public for information on the individual(s) who damaged headstones at Assumption BVM Church Cemetery, Soldier Hill (State Route 2031), in Sykesville, Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) drove a side-by-side type of ATV through the cemetery, striking several headstones and knocking them off the foundations.

The incident occurred sometime between January 23, 2015, and January 28, 2015.
