Police Seek Information on Rifle Stolen in Rose Township

investigationROSE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, yesterday a Theft occurred on Allegheny Blvd., Miller Welding parking lot, in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police say on Friday, March 13, an unknown perpetrator(s) removed a Del-Ton AR 15 rifle containing a loaded 30 round magazine from a 19-year-old Brookville man’s vehicle that was parked in the parking lot at the above described location.

According to police, the magazine contained 15 – 5.56 black tip armor piercing rounds and 15 brass .223 rounds.
