Police Seek Information on Theft at Strip Site in Perry Twp.

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident of theft that occurred at the Original Fuels Williams Run Strip Site in Perry Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the incident occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. on March 14 and 4:30 p.m. on March 16, when an unknown actor(s) stole items from heavy machinery at the strip site located on Poerio Road.

The actor(s) removed a total of 12 radiator coils from the radiator of a 1999 D11R Caterpillar Dozer, then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police say.

The dozer was sitting in the parking lot at the time of the incident, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
