Police Seek Information on Theft in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 11:05 p.m. on November 4, a theft occurred at Get-Go Store located on Allegheny Blvd., in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say three vehicles entered the Get-Go store and removed five gallon gas cans from the store without paying for them.

The gas cans are valued at $15.00 each for a total of $75.00, according to police.

The vehicles involved in the incident are as follows:

-a red Jeep Grand Cherokee
-a dark colored Chevrolet Suburban
-a black Mazda with black mag style rims

A video camera shows that the three vehicles entered the store and left at the same time during the incident, police say.

A male and female who were in the Mazda placed all five gas cans in the Suburban then left the scene, according to police.

PA registration number JFW3537 was obtained for the black Mazda.

No other plate numbers are available at this time.

An investigation into this incident is continuing.
