Police Seek Information on Theft of Security Camera on State Game Land

investigationPINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to an incident of theft that occurred between December 13 and December 26, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown actor(s) stole a Reconyx License Plate Reader/Security camera from a tree adjacent to the parking area of State Game Lands 244 in Pine Creek Township.

The actor(s) cut the steel cable that affixed the device to the tree as it was placed to monitor traffic and littering violations.

The camera was the property of the Pennsylvania Game Commission and valued at approximately $700.00.
